Terms of service
Draft, last updated 29 October 2026
The service
Sciatica Sucks is one to one movement coaching for people with sciatica, run by Connor Byrne [business name and registration details, if any]. It includes sessions with Connor, a daily plan of exercises and habits in this app, and progress tracking.
Coaching, not medical care
This is movement coaching. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and Connor is not acting as your doctor or [physiotherapist or other health professional]. Keep seeing your doctor for medical care. Check with them before starting if you’re unsure whether exercise is safe for you.
Stop and see a doctor if your symptoms get worse or change. See a doctor or go to an emergency department the same day if you have new bladder or bowel problems, numbness in the groin or saddle area, leg weakness that is getting worse, or fever or weight loss you can’t explain.
What “fixed” means
You are fixed when all three of these are true, confirmed together at a fixed check session with Connor:
- Zero leg symptoms on 14 logged days in a row: no pain, numbness or tingling below the buttock.
- Back pain averaging 0 to 1 out of 10 over your last 14 logged days, with no single day above 2.
- Your 3 goal activities done without pain stopping you. You and Connor set these at your first session, based on your intake answers.
Connor enters your 3 goal activities in the app after your first session, and you accept them there. The app records the date you accept them. If they change, you’ll be asked to accept them again.
The fee
- Coaching is free until you’re fixed.
- When you’re fixed, the fee is $3,000 USD, paid once, within 7 days of the fixed check, by card through a secure Stripe payment link.
- It’s all or nothing. There is no part payment for partial improvement.
- After you pay, 3 months of follow up for flare ups is included. [What follow up includes, e.g. messages and sessions.]
Doing the work
Coaching only works if you do your plan. If you complete under half of your plan for 3 weeks in a row, or miss 2 sessions without notice, Connor will give you one written warning. If it carries on after that, Connor can end the coaching, and you owe nothing.
The 6 month review
If you’re not fixed after 6 months, you and Connor review your progress together. You then either carry on, or part ways with nothing owed.
If you need medical care
If you need medical care, for example because of a red flag symptom, the coaching pauses. Nothing is owed while it’s paused, and it restarts when your doctor says it’s safe to. [How long a pause can last.]
Your part
- Answer the intake form honestly and tell Connor about changes in your health.
- Log your leg symptoms and back pain in the app every day. Being fixed is measured from this log.
- Do the exercises within your limits, and stop anything that makes your symptoms worse.
- Keep your login to yourself.
Ending coaching
You or Connor can stop the coaching at any time by letting the other know. If you stop before you’re fixed, you owe nothing. You can ask us to delete your account and information as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
[Limitation of liability and any consumer law guarantees that can’t be excluded. For legal review.]
Which law applies
[Governing law and where disputes are handled. For legal review.]
Changes and contact
If these terms change, we’ll update the date above and ask you to accept the new version in the app. Questions: connor.sciatica@gmail.com.
